Shaun Williams Appointed as National Business Manager (Structural Waterproofing)
Flag-Soprema UK Ltd has appointed Shaun Williams to the role of National Business Manager (Structural Waterproofing). He brings with him over 20 years of technical and commercial experience in the roofing and insulation sectors and joins after 6 years with Alumasc Exterior Building Products.
Managing Director Steve Greaves commented, “This is a particularly exciting time for Flag-Soprema. With the amalgamation of the Flag and Soprema brands and our new headquarters in Braintree, we are in a position to offer a unique and unparalleled range of waterproofing solutions to the client, specifier and main contractor alike”.
Shaun’s new role will be to spearhead the development of the unique Duoflex hot melt waterproofing system on a national basis. He added, “I am extremely pleased to have been entrusted with this challenging and exciting role and look forward to establishing Duoflex as a key roofing brand”. A nationwide network of approved contractors will be established along similar lines to that for the company’s Flagon PVC and TPO single ply membranes and Optigreen green roof systems.
